Laughter and rainy days.

Exhausted and worn out,but I wanted to pen down all I have to say, today. It is a day I would reminisce vividly, separating this day from the other mundane days.

You may wonder,is it a concert she has gone or some prize she has won, what is the source of ‘Laughter’ as mentioned in the above title. This ‘laughter’ on my title is closely allied to the chuckles of the children’s,the ever living sculpture of God.

The first light of ‘Independence day’ started with our visit to a local orphanage school in kasba. For the last 19 years of my life,I have spent this day in leisure, reading a book or indulging myself in external activities, but this day is always going to be one special day for me.A visit to a school always bears with itself the felicity of life, the carefree faces running in the school backyard, leaves you with everlasting joy.

It is a small but very beautiful school situated in kasba,Kolkata where orphans(I never liked the term) girls live and there is also a school where several dedicated teachers work immensely hard for teaching them. They organised a splendid show for us,as I witnessed each of the students, glorious in their passion, whether recitation or dancing, they are phenomenal.I couldn’t cease my smiling as I was watching them, the bundles of sunshine.I met with several girls there, who are from Ireland, and during their summer times, they spend their time with the childrens,I remember one name,Louis,if you are reading this, you guys are doing a wonderful job,I wholeheartedly wanted to say ‘Thank you’ to you all.

Each and everyone welcomed us with such a beaming smile, that you want to come back here again and again, for me ‘Lion’s club’ gave me the opportunity to be here. But there are various organisations who does tireless work to take care of the ones we forgot. If possible, visit them once on a while,I am sure, every gloominess would transform into a distant memory.

Girls,I hope you would become independent and successful in life.

All my love,

Neha.
