Homecoming

Homecoming, the word might have given birth to the idea of nostalgia, the yearning for something that we couldn’t attain sitting in the corners of a deserted land in some forgotten parts of god’s universe.Readers, today I want to ask a very mundane, uncoupled question. Can’t it be related to your own self ?

Isn’t loving yourself, accepting your body, the beautiful home, which is the base of the unbreakable sculpture a homecoming, for it is our home. Reading some of the acknowledged romances that numerous classical writers of English literature along with Indian young adult fiction, better known as the YA novels,a question arises in my mind. As an average looking girl, the words in those books, illustrating the protagonist as an epitome of embellishment,an heir of Helen of Troy ,my mind recalls the trillions of women who are by society standards far from flawless, milk-white skin, yet they have made their mark tremendously in this cruel world , it is not cause their skin was made of gold and ivory ,or they married the most handsome prince alive on this earth.

It is simply their fiery spirit, they did have scars, some of them may be in the earlier life a disgrace to them. But in wiser years they made an armor out of the scars, wore a smile against the vices that this world has presented as a gift to them. It might have taken a decade for these women to accept the soil that is the foundation of their home.It is not necessary for them to be a renowned or a famous persona, look to all the ladies that have made the person you are,you will realize eventually, the brightest flowers mostly spend their life unheard, unsung , unnoticed.

we always look up to great and consummate genius for motivation and acceptance. To love our body we see woman all round the world caressing their ownselves with equal love and is immensely proud of what they are.

I believe it is a long process,it is not achieved overnight by watching four TedX videos, but it begans by positive thinking and open mentality. For simply, home is where peace pervades.A travel bug to a business analyst ,when their feet touches the familiar ground of comfort, happiness originates from within.

To all my readers, may one day in the midst of chaos we find our homecoming.

Agree with your points 👍 it’s totally relatable to own self. I would like to blame our desires for that & due to it we are so far away from our inner soul. Second last paragraph is profound 👌.

Powerful message. The change that is most needed. We look more enchanting when we look us from our inner us. It is our perception that makes us beautiful let the world may lament anything. When we like the way we are life is harmonious- homecoming. It is pleasure reading your thoughts 🤗
